1. Overview
Thirteen (the “App”) is a quiz game in which players guess characters from different game categories. We aim to be transparent about the data processed when you use the App.
2. Data We Process
- Android ID: used to identify the user within the App.
- Firebase Installation ID: an app-installation identifier used by Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications.
- Game statistics and results: game-session results, achievements, and data needed to display rankings are stored on our server and used for in-game features.
- Notification permission: Android may ask for permission to send notifications. You can manage this permission in your device settings.
3. How We Use Data
- The Android ID is used to identify the user within the App. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is used exclusively to deliver push notifications, for example about updates or new content.
- Game statistics and results are used to display progress, achievements, and leaderboard position.
- We do not use this data for ad targeting or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, a service provided by Google LLC, to deliver push notifications. Firebase Cloud Messaging processes the data required to deliver push notifications, in accordance with Google’s documentation and policies.
Firebase privacy and security ↗
We do not sell user data. Firebase may use infrastructure providers to deliver its services; details are described in Google’s documentation.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Game statistics and results are stored on our server for as long as necessary to operate rankings and achievements. You can request deletion of this data by emailing the address below.
- Uninstalling the App does not guarantee automatic deletion of game statistics already stored on our server. To request deletion of server-side game data, email the contact address below.
- According to Firebase, after a Firebase Installation ID is deleted through the relevant API, associated data is removed from Firebase systems within 180 days. The developer initiates this deletion; uninstalling the App alone should not be treated as a guarantee of immediate deletion of Firebase data.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data stored on our server. However, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. Information about the protection of data processed by Firebase is available in Google’s documentation.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
8. Your Choices and Rights
